- Women's Golf:
- For the first time in program history, two Wake Forest golfers advanced to the Augusta National Women's Amateur final round at Augusta National.
- In her ANWA debut, sophomore Chloe Kovelesky fired 5-under across 36 holes with an eagle and nine birdies, sat T6 after the cut and finished T17 (-3).
- Junior Macy Pate bounced back in her second appearance at ANWA, after missing the cut last year, opened with 70 (-2) to secure a final round spot, and finished T31 (+3).
- Track & Field:
- Wake Forest is back in action as they are set to compete in a pair of meets. First, one set of Deacs will travel to Durham to participate in the Duke Invitational from Thursday, April 9, to Saturday, April 11.
- Meanwhile, another group of Demon Deacons will head south to Coral Gables, Fla., to compete in the Hurricane Alumni Invitational on Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11.
- Women's Tennis:
- Wake Forest (11-11, 3-7 ACC) celebrated its home finale with a dominant 4-0 win over Louisville (9-11, 1-10 ACC) on Sunday.
- Nevena Carton was honored by Coach Wyshner on Senior & Graduates Day and clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-2 win, improving to 9-7 in singles.
- Wake Forest will take a trip up north to wrap ACC play. The Deacs take on No. 9 Virginia on Friday, April 10, before finishing the regular season in Blacksburg on Sunday against Virginia Tech. First serve for the Virginia match is set for 4 p.m.
