Wake Forest No. 6 Seed at 2026 ACC Baseball Tournament, Battling the Winner of Louisville and Pitt on Wednesday

The Demon Deacons will open postseason play on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest baseball team opens postseason play as the No. 6 seed at the 2026 ACC Baseball Tournament on Wednesday at Truist Field in Charlotte, N.C.
The Demon Deacons will take on either No. 11 Louisville or No. 14 Pitt. First pitch is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET and will air on ACC Network.
Entering postseason play, the Demon Deacons are 38-18 overall, completing the ACC slate with a 16-14 record following back-to-back ACC series wins over Louisville and Duke.
Wake Forest closed the season strong, winning 10 of its final 11 contests, including three of the final four conference weekend series. The Demon Deacons enter postseason play with an RPI of No. 17, and 14 victories across Quads 1 & 2.

Demon Deacons fans are invited to join us on Wednesday at Ink & Ivy – 222 S Church St, Charlotte, NC 28202, as the restaurant will serve as the official Wake Forest gathering spot throughout the tournament.
