Since 2015, Wake Forest has had at least one athlete named to the All-ACC team every year.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Two on Wake Forest women's golf have earned All-ACC honors, as announced Friday by the conference: junior Macy Pate and sophomore Chloe Kovelesky. Pate lands on the list for the third consecutive year while Kovelesky captures her second conference nod.
Pate grabbed her first collegiate win this past fall at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, setting a career low 54-hole score. Since then, the three-time All-ACC member has placed no lower than the top-25 all season, including back-to-back top-10 finishes at the Moon Golf Invitational and Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.
Additionally, the Winston-Salem, N.C.-native maintained the lowest scoring average of the Demon Deacons post-ACC Championship, as well as the highest ranked Deac on Scoreboard (No. 19).
Kovelesky secured the Deacs' first individual title of the year, earning co-medalist honors at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, followed by a second-place finish behind Pate at the Stephens Cup. The 2025 All-American Honorable Mention made her debut at the ANWA, while Pate returned for the second time, both making the cut to compete at Augusta National.
Kovelesky kicked off her postseason going nine-under at the 2026 ACC Championship to earn third place medalist honors. The sophomore's overall score of 207 ties third in program history for the lowest 54-hole score to par at the championship.
The team will continue their postseason play this upcoming Monday as the No. 2 seed at the NCAA Regionals, held May 11-13 at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla.
