Maxwell Named to 2026 Mac Hermann NCAA Forwards to Watch List

The sophomore was one of 11 ACC players to garner a spot on the list.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Wake Forest women's soccer forward Kylie Maxwell has been named to the 2026 NCAA Division I Mac Hermann Forwards to Watch List, as announced by IWSOC/United Soccer Coaches on Monday afternoon.
In 2025, Maxwell became just the second Demon Deacon to win ACC Freshman of the Year, leading the Deacs across multiple offensive categories throughout the season. The All-ACC Freshman and Third Team member tallied the most minutes of any freshman on the squad, starting all but one of 20 matches.
The Langhorne, Pa.-native drove the Wake Forest offense with six goals and 17 points, recording her first career goal and assist in back-to-back games to open the season. The sophomore spent her offseason gaining international experience with the U-19 and U-20 USYNT teams.

These positional announcements also lead up to the 2026 watch lists for the prestigious Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy on the official start date for regular season games on August 13 (women) and August 20 (men). The MAC Hermann Trophy is presented annually to the Division I National Players of the Year as voted by Division I College Coaches at the end of the regular season. The 2026 recipients will be announced on January 8, 2027, in St. Louis, Mo.
