Wake Forest Women’s Soccer Opening Night and Highly Ranked ACC Matchups On National Television

The Demon Deacons open the year on ACC Network against the LSU Tigers this upcoming Wednesday.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest women's soccer will battle three ranked opponents in front of a nationally televised audience on the ACC Network, as announced by the conference office this past Thursday.
The Demon Deacons open the regular season at home against the No. 16 LSU Tigers, on Wednesday, Aug. 12. The two programs met most recently in 2025, where junior Lola Ressler netted her first career goal to carry the Deacs to a 1-0 victory.
Wake Forest will have back-to-back contests on national television in October, as they host the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles and No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels. With all three contests on home turf, the Deacs will look to extend their unbeaten streak at Spry.
This past season, the Demon Deacons equaled their longest home unbeaten streak in program history, tying the mark set in 2024 at 15 matches with a 1-1 draw against No. 1 Notre Dame. Wake Forest finished the regular season with an 8-0-3 record at Spry last season and are a stellar 22-1-8 at home over the last three years.

Fans can catch all of Demon Deacon home action this fall as well by purchasing single game tickets. Non-conference games are $15 for reserved seating in Section 3, and general admission in any of the bleachered sections is priced at $10 for adults and $5 for youth (ages 4-18). Meanwhile, ACC games are $20 for reserved seating with general admission set at $15 for adults and $10 for youth.
Attendance on Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill will remain free during all preseason and regular season action for both programs.
Ticket prices will increase by $5 on match days at the box office.
