Developed from a rarely-used walk-on, to All-ACC closer, to All-ACC Friday night starter … Broke the program career and single-season records for strikeouts per nine innings, including a mark of 12.39 Ks/9 in his three seasons, shattering the previous 18-year-old record of 10.73 … Finished with a 7-10 career record, 3.80 ERA, eight saves and 228 strikeouts in 165.2 innings … Opponents hit just .203 against him.
2018 (Junior)

Had a breakout campaign, earning All-ACC honors as he finished the year 2-5 with a 2.19 ERA and eight saves ... Was picked by the Minnesota Twins in the 29th round as a draft-eligible sophomore but elected to return for his junior year ... Broke the program record with 13.50 strikeouts per nine innings, fanning 80 batters in 53.1 innings ... Seven of his eight saves were at least 2.0 innings ... Struck out five batters in an outing three times (March 10 & 11 vs. NC State, June 10 at Florida) and also added nine four-strikeout efforts ... Allowed opponents to hit just .160 against him ... Went 1-1 with a 1.35 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 6.2 NCAA Tournament innings, and had a 2.06 ERA in ACC play ... Earned wins over Quinnipiac (March 3) and West Virginia (June 3), and saves over NC State (March 10), Miami (March 31), Louisville (Apr. 7), Notre Dame (Apr. 14), Boston College (May 7), Florida State (May 12, 14) and Pitt (May 18) ... 2016 (Freshman)
Struggled with his command but displayed electric stuff, striking out 18 batters in 15.2 innings ... Allowed less than a hit per inning, but walked 22 and finished with a 9.19 ERA ... Didn't allow a run in outings in which he did not walk a batter ... Struck out a season-high three batters in 1.1 hitless frames against Clemson (March 12) ... Also had multiple strikeouts against USC, Coastal Carolina, Charlotte, High Point and Texas A&M ... Spent the summer with the Amsterdam Mohawks of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
