Career Summary
Will Craig turned in one of the most storied Wake Forest careers, culminating in a first-round selection by the Pittsburgh Pirates (22nd overall) in the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft, the Deacons' first first-round pick since 2008 and highest since 2006 ... Craig became the first Demon Deacon ever to be a consensus first team All-American by all six outlets ... Finishes his three-year Wake Forest career ranking in the program's top 10 all-time in home runs (10th - 37) and walks (10th - 108), sitting just outside the top 10 in average (.347), doubles (42) and RBIs (160) ... Was also a regular pitcher in the rotation, finishing with a 6-4 record, 10 saves and 4.94 ERA in 41 outings.

Signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates after being taken 22nd overall in the first round of the MLB Draft ... Concluded a storied career by being selected as a consensus first team All-American ... Served primarily as the third baseman and closer.

Tallied 20 multi-hit games and 17 multi-RBI games, including the first five-hit game of his career against Notre Dame (Apr. 3): 5-for-6 with two doubles and four RBIs ... Earned wins against Davidson (Apr. 5) and North Carolina (Apr. 23), tallying saves against UMBC, Towson, Clemson, UNCG, Florida State, North Carolina, Boston College, Duke, Virginia and Minnesota ... 2015 (Sophomore)
Posted one of the best offensive seasons in Wake Forest history ... Became just the fourth Demon Deacon to be named an All-American by five different outlets ... Spent time at first base, designated hitter, starting pitcher and relief pitcher.

Led Wake Forest in average (.382), home runs (13), RBIs (58), runs scored (52), doubles (20), walks (41), on-base percentage (.496) and slugging (.702) ... At different times of the season, led the nation in RBIs, home runs, slugging and total bases ... One of just two Deacons to start all 53 games ... Totaled 22 multi-hit games and 19 multi-RBI contests ... Held the ACC lead in the triple crown categories until the last weekend of the regular season ... Recorded first-career multi-homer game against Virginia Tech (March 8), finishing that series 8-for-15 with three dingers and four doubles ... Tallied multiple doubles against Bucknell, Virginia Tech and Pitt ... Racked up hitting streaks of 15 games and 12 games ... Finished with 10 multi-walk games to just four multi-strikeout games ... Pitching
Went 3-4 with a 6.09 ERA, making 15 appearances and seven starts, also recording his first-career save ... Was stellar in a victory over Clemson, tossing 6.0 innings of four-hit ball, allowing one run and striking out five ... Picked up wins in back-to-back outings against Notre Dame (Apr. 25) and High Point (Apr. 28), going a combined 8.1 innings without allowing a run and striking out eight ... Allowed just three baserunners against NC State (May 9), striking out six in 6.0 innings on three hits without a walk ... Didn't allow a run his first three outings, combining to throw 5.0 frames of two-hit ball out of the pen against Delaware and twice against UNCW with five strikeouts.

One of the ACC's standout freshman players in 2014 ... Became the everyday third baseman while pitching at times.

Finished the season with a batting average of .280 while collecting 53 hits, 21 runs, six doubles and eight home runs which ranked among the conference leaders ... Tallied 36 RBIs which was second on the team and had a slugging percentage of .439 ... Walked 20 times and had six sacrifice flies ... First multiple-hit game came against Missouri (Feb. 22) ... First multi-RBI contest was against Saint Louis with two runs batted in ... Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the win over VMI (March 5) ... Had six hits, six runs, three RBIs and four walks in the series win at Georgia Tech and earned the ACC Player of the Week honors on March 10 ... Had an 11-game hitting streak and a 10-game RBI streak ... Tallied three RBIs and two doubles in the win over Notre Dame (March 30) ... Recorded a career-high four RBIs with a homer against High Point (April 2) ... Collected four hits vs. Western Carolina (April 30) ... Finished the season on a four-game hitting streak ... Played for the St. Cloud Rox in the Northwoods League during the summer.
Pitching:
Made seven appearances for Wake Forest on the mound with 13.1 innings pitched ... Had a 4.05 ERA and started one game against Florida State (April 20) ... Made his first appearance on the mound against Marshall (Feb. 17) and earned the win while giving up just one hit in four innings and struck out three ... Pitched in conference against Florida State and against No. 1 Virginia (May 16) ... Ended the season with a 1-0 record and seven strikeouts.
