Jamie Franks begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach of the Wake Forest men[apos]s soccer team after most recently playing with the Rochester Rhinos in the USSF Division 2 Professional League.
Franks played for the Demon Deacons from 2005-08 and ranks fifth in Wake Forest history with 95 appearances in his four-year career, where he totaled seven goals, 20 assists and 34 points and was a member of three College Cup teams, including the 2007 National Championship team. After leaving Wake, Franks was selected by Chivas USA in the fourth round of the 2009 MLS SuperDraft.
Franks graduated from Wake Forest in 2009 with a degree in communication.
