Completed the fall with a 5-3 record in singles...went 4-4 in doubles...reached the semifinals of the UVa Fall Invitational...posted a 2-1 record at the Cincinnati Invitational the weekend of September 24th. 2005-06 (Sophomore)
Finished the season with a 22-13 singles record...a 24-13 doubles record...won his first six singles matches of the season, the first four of which were in the Cincinnati Collegiate Classic in late September...also combined with freshman Cory Parr to go 3 for 4 in doubles in the same tournament...reached the quarterfinals of the USC Invitational with a 2-1 mark in the top singles flight...went 5-3 in ACC match play ...notched a 6-1 singles record at the No. 4 singles spot...earned ACC wins against Boston College, NC State, Duke, and Virginia Tech... tied with Cory Parr for most doubles wins on the season (24)...went 9-3 with Parr to reach the semifinals of the ITA Mideast Regional Championships...recorded a 5-2 record in dual matches with Brett Ross at the No.2 doubles spot...went 5-6 in ACC doubles...handed Virginia[apos]s Cohen/Stewart just their sixth loss of the season at the No.3 spot with Andrew Hamar in the second round of the NCAA[apos]s... 2004-05 (Freshman)
Joined the Deacon squad at the semester break and provided an immediate impact in both singles and doubles... spent most of the spring season playing No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles... went 15-5 overall in singles and 12-7 in doubles... posted a 10-5 record at No. 5 singles and a 5-0 record at No. 6... recorded a 6-3 mark in ACC matches... won his first six singles matches as a Demon Deacon... dropped only one set in those matches... won his ACC Tournament match against Clemson[apos]s Brett Twente, 6-1, 6-3... earned ACC wins against Miami, NC State, Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Duke... joined with Todd Paul early in the year to go 7-3 at the No. 2 doubles position... later teamed with Andrew Hamar to go 4-0 against the ACC in the regular season at No. 2 and No. 3... earned those wins against Tyler/Blackmon of Georgia Tech, 8-2, Stone/Mandour of North Carolina, 8-2, Wilkins/Diankov of Virginia Tech, 8-2 and Brezac/Stokke of Duke, 9-8 (4).
