Ranked as the No. 74 preseason singles player ... played with Karin Coetzee in doubles for the majority of the spring season and was ranked as high as No. 15 ... also played six matches with Jenna Loeb and compiled a 3-3 record ... finished the season as the No. 28 doubles pair ... split time between the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions ... finished the year with a 13-7 overall singles record and a 15-6 doubles mark ... played with Coetzee in the NCAA tournament and fell to Ana Cetnik and Story Tweedie-Yates, 6-1, 6-2 ... did not participate in the fall season. Compiled a solid record in the fall season her freshman year, however, was unable to play in the spring season due to a serious shoulder injury ... in the fall recorded a dominant 7-1 record, and remained ranked throughout much of the season ... only loss came to teammate Karin Coetzee ... recorded impressive wins over Ginger Lowdermilk (Va. Tech) 7-6 (6), 6-3, Danielle Moita (Winthrop), 6-1, 6-4, Lauren Bruch (UVA) 6-2, 6-4, Christyn Lucas (South Carolina) 6-4, 6-1, Sarah Anundsun (UNC-CH) 6-4, 6-3, Danela Alvarez (Clemson) 6-3, 6-2, and Manan Kruse (MTSU), 6-1, 6-3 ... Closed out the season ranked at 90 nationally despite not playing in the spring ... reached as high as 38 in January and 40 in February ... compiled a 4-4 overall record, and played most consistently with Danielle Schwartz in doubles action with victories over the team of Williams/Ruzimosky of OSU, Morris/Borndt-Davis (Furman), Moita/Novares of Winthrop and Nzudie/Sukner of Marshall ... looks to rebound from her injury last season to make a strong contribution to the Demon Deacon squad in 2004-05. Top-ranked player in both the state of Georgia and the Southern Section ... listed 23rd in the nation and ranked 138th in the International Tennis Federation[apos]s world junior singles rankings ... captured singles championships at the 2002 STA Closed, 2002 Bullfrog, 2001 Atlanta Chanda Rubin Classic, 2001 Junior Spring Fling and was the doubles champion at the 2001 Atlanta Chanda Rubin Classic ... also a singles finalist at the 2002 Van Der Meer Chanda Rubin, 2001 USTA Supernational Winter Championships, 2001 STA GA Closed and was the backdraw finalist at the 2001 USTA Super National Easter Bowl ... a singles semifinalist at the 2001 South Carolina Chanda Rubin American ITF Circuit, 2001 USTA Supernational Clay Courts, 2001 Franklin Winter and took third place in doubles at the 2002 USTA Supernational Hard Court Championships.
