Appeared in six games, starting four of them ... Finished the shortened season with a 1-0 record and 5.06 ERA ... Struck out 25 batters in 21.1 innings, allowing 12 runs on 16 hits and 16 walks ... Recorded a dominant start against Sacred Heart (March 3), tossing 5.0 shutout innings, striking out nine while walking two and allowing just a first-inning single as Wake Forest recorded a one-hitter ... Had an up-and-down rookie campaign, finishing the year with an 0-5 record and 9.99 ERA in 25 appearances - 24 out of the bullpen .... Struck out 27 batters in 24.1 innings, but also walked 22 and hit 11 ... Went six consecutive outings without allowing an earned run from March 9-25, including a season-high four-strikeout effort against Charlotte (March 13) ... Best outing of the season came against Radford (May 8), when he struck out the side without allowing a baserunner ... Pitched effectively in ACC play, recording a 5.00 ERA in 11 appearances, striking out nine while allowing four hits and five walks in 9.0 innings ... In summer ball, had an all-star campaign with the Charlottesville TomSox where he finished with a 2-1 record, four saves and 2.43 ERA over 33.1 innings with 50 strikeouts.
