A four-year member of the program, Long finished with a .190 average, seven doubles, two homers, 19 RBIs and a pair of stolen bases. He played in 72 games and started 40 of them. Long also drew 23 walks and was hit by five pitches.

2019 (Junior)
Played in 18 games and made five starts in right field ... Also saw action in left field and behind the plate ... Finished the year 6-for-37 (.162) with two doubles and two walks ... Went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in his first start against Georgetown (Feb. 17) ... Also had hits against Furman, Boston College, Charlotte and Radford.
2018 (Sophomore)
Played in 36 games and made 30 starts, finishing with a .224 average, five doubles, two homers and 15 RBIs ... Saw time at all three outfield positions ... Started the year with a bang, going 3-for-4 with a double, homer and three RBIs in his first start against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 18) ... Reached base in all five plate appearances of a win over UMass Lowell (March 4), finishing the day 2-for-2 with three walks and two RBIs ... Capped off the regular season with a 2-for-4 effort against Virginia (May 19) with a home run, two walks, two RBIs and three runs scored ... Played summer ball with the Oneaonta Outlaws in the PGCBL.
