Arrived to Wake Forest as a grad transfer and pursuing M.S. in business analytics. Will miss the 2020 season due to injury and transitioned into a rule as student assistant.

"Danny will help our club in a student-assistant role. Unfortunately, he didn't quite recover from the season ending Tommy John surgery he had at Holy Cross so he is shifting gears. Helping Coach Hendricks get our guys ready to pitch and assisting the data analytics team with reports, Danny will still add tremendous value."

Prior to Wake Forest
Missed his senior season at the College of the Holy Cross due to Tommy John surgery ... Graduated with a degree in economics ... Made 51 appearances over his first three seasons ... Best year came in 2018 as a junior, going 5-2 with a 1.71 ERA and four saves, striking out 74 batters in 52.2 innings as he was named first team All-Patriot League ... In 2017, recorded a 5.95 ERA in 16 appearances with 15 strikeouts ... Went 3-3 with a 4.11 ERA and a save as a freshman in 2016.

Earned two varsity letters in baseball and three in hockey at St. John's HS ... Served as a team captain as a senior in both baseball and hockey ... Played in the MBCA Junior Select All-Star Game.

Born on Aug. 11, 1997 ... Son of Jeff and Tracy Barlok ... Member of the National Honor Society in high school ... Father was a member of the swimming and diving team at Colgate, where his mother was a member of the rowing team ... Sister, Katie, competed in swimming and diving at Trinity College.
