Lukas Fieber is in his first year as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Wake Forest field hockey team in 2016.

Fieber has a strong background in both coaching and playing field hockey. He played for the Mannheim Hockey Club where he led his team to the U14 German Championship in 2005 as well as third place in the German Men's First League in 2013, 2014 and 2016. He also coaches youth teams through the Club. Fieber played one season for FC Barcelona in 2013 and qualified for the European Hockey League in 2016.

Most recently, Fieber is a staff member of the 2016 Olympic bronze medal-winning German Women's National Field Hockey team where he is responsible for scouting and video analysis.

Fieber is currently finishing his Master's degree in Physics and Geography from Ruprecht-Karls Universität Heidelberg located in Heidelberg, Germany. He is working on his final thesis regarding research he conducted in environmental physics and will graduate in 2017. At Wake Forest, Fieber works as a research scholar on biophysics projects with Professors Keith Bonin and Martin Guthold.
