Armour joined the Wake Forest Sports Medicine staff in July of 2021 as the head athletic trainer for men’s basketball.
Prior to joining the Deacs, he worked in the NFL and NBA with both the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. His work with the Saints earned him a Super Bowl ring in 2009. While he was with the Pelicans, Armour worked with two former Deacs, All-Star Chris Paul and Al-Farouq Aminu.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2007 from Southeastern Louisiana and his master’s degree in Kinesiology from Lamar in 2009.
Armour is originally from New Orleans and now resides in Clemmons with his wife Tammy and their dog Biggie.
Armour and Tammy have two sons, Elijah and Brian. Elijah is currently a volleyball student-athlete at Catawba studying computer science and Brian is enrolled at North Carolina A&T where he is studying Business.
