FALL, 2005: Saw action in four of five tournaments... shot an opening-round and career-low 67 in the opening round of the Isleworth Invitational and finished 11th overall... played very well in the Collegiate Match Play Championship, winning three out of four matches.
2004-05: Saw action in nine of 13 events as a junior... was in the lineup for the entire postseason... earned a stroke average of 75.42... had one top-20 finish... 18 of his 26 rounds counted (69.2 percent)... had one under-par round and another round at par... had a stroke differential of 19.6... played in just one fall tournament, the season-opening The Ridges in Tennessee... began the spring by shooting even par 72 in the opening round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate... had the team[apos]s second-lowest score and finished in 41st place at the Hall of Fame Invitational... finished in the top 20 at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate after shooting a 7-over 220... finished tied for 30th overall at the ACC Championship... helped lead Wake Forest to the NCAA East Regional... shot back-to-back 71s and finished with the team[apos]s second-lowest score at the NCAA Championship.
2003-04: Saw action in eight tournaments including six in the spring... compiled a 77.75 stroke average... had three rounds under par... 46 percent of his rounds counted toward the team score... cracked the starting lineup in the spring and played his best golf late in the season... shot an even par 216 and finished tied for 19th place at the ACC Championship... had two rounds of 1-under 71 at the ACC Championship... went on to get his first taste of NCAA Tournament competition when he played in the NCAA East Regional... also played well in the Intercollegiate, shooting a three-day 220... competed in the consolation round of the Collegiate Matchplay Championship, falling 3 and 2 to UCLA[apos]s Travis Johnson.
2002-03: Competed in one event - the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate - as an individual... shot 83-84-71 and finished 75th with a 22-over 238.
2001-02: Did not compete for the Deacons while taking a redshirt year.
Before WFU: A three-year letterwinner and captain of the golf team at The Bishops School... was the Coastal League Champion as a senior... named the San Diego CIF Player of the Year... named to the All-CIF squad three straight years... also a three-year letterwinner in football for the Knights, playing tailback and strong safety... named to the All-CIF football squad... earned Outstanding Defensive Back honors... served as football team captain as well... earned the Scholar-Athlete Award two straight years.
