Finished the season 13-6 in singles... had a seven-match win streak in the fall... Was undefeated in the month of February, going 4-0... earned a postaseason victory against South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament... posted an ACC dual match wins against Clemson... picked up dual match victories against Charlotte, Illinois, Texas A&M and Indiana... Complied a 24-8 record in doubles primarily in the team[apos]s No. 3 spot... Won eight ACC doubles matches, leading the team... Went 15-6 in doubles with teammate Sierra Poske... Defeated No. 45 nationally ranked doubles team of Duke, 8-2, with teammate Poske... earned a postseason victory with Christian Tara against South Carolina... picked up ACC dual match victories against Duke, NC State, Florida State and Virginia Tech with Poske... got ACC wins with Tara against Virginia, Boston College, Maryland and Georgia Tech. Born March 3, 1985... the daughter of Steve and Peggy Simpson... brother Andrew was a standout tennis player for Wake Forest and now is the assistant coach of the men[apos]s program... has six high school teammates playing Division I tennis.
