Indoor: Curtis-Collins followed up her sensational cross country season by setting three new personal bests during the indoor track season. She set a time of 17:42.42 in the 5000 meter run, 9:42.23 in the 3,000 meter run and 5:02.43 in the mile run, winning the event at the Youngstown State College Invitational. Her time in the 3,000 was good enough to qualify for the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championships, but the championship event was cancelled.... Named NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-American by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)... The outdoor track season was cancelled due to the Coronavirus... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team
Cross Country: Curtis-Collins went back-to-back in winning her second consecutive G-MAC Championship in 2020. She ran a season-best time of 21:24.2 in the championship race and was named G-MAC Runner of the Year for the second time. In the condensed season, Curtis-Collins also set a season-best 5K time of 17:46.6 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic, leading to a second place finish. She secured a fourth place finish at the Hillsdale Invitational.
2019 (Sophomore)
Cross Country: Curtis-Collins opened up her season with a 14th finish at the Tommy Evans Invitational and then placed 13th at the All-Ohio Championships. She clocked in a personal best in the 5k (17:39.5) at the Royals Cross Country Challenge. Curtis-Collins was Runner Of The Year by winning the G-MAC Cross Country Championships with a personal best in the 6k race in 20:47. At the NCAA DII Midwest Regional Championships, Curtis-Collins placed 17th out of 222 runners and individually qualified for the national championships race. While at the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships, Mackenna ran a 21:24.3 in the 6k race which placed her at 71st place... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team
2019 (Freshman)
Outdoor: In the outdoor season, Mackenna ran a personal-best in the 800 meter run (2:22.72) and won the 5,000 meter run (17:49.72) at the Walsh university Invite. Her personal-best in the 1,500 meter run (4:39.13) was at the G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships where she placed third place. Was named G-MAC All-Conference Third Team as well as G-MAC All-Academic Team. Mackenna has the fifth-best 1,500 meter time in Malone’s all-time list.
Indoor: Curtis-Collins competed in middle-distance events with the Pioneer track team. Her season-best time in the mile race was 5:07.07 at the GVSU Big Meet and her 3,000 meter run was 10:15.54 at the Kent State Tune-Up. Mackenna helped the Distance Medley Relay team place third at the G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships..she was named G-MAC All-Conference Third Team. Mackenna was a member of the DMR team that qualified for the NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships that reached a 6th place finish in 11:43.81, receiving an All-American Honors.
Cross Country: Placed second and set a new personal best in the 4K at the Wooster Invitational … Finished eighth in the 5K at the Tommy Evans Invitational (9/8).
