Andrews pitched in two seasons for the Demon Deacons (2022 and 2023), highlighted by closing out the 8th inning in the 2023 Winston-Salem Regional final against George Mason last spring. In 10 appearances, Andrews struck out 12 while allowing just three hits and two runs. In summer baseball, Andrews made the all-star team in the Old North State League (2021) and made the all-star team and was the co-reliever of the year in the Futures League in 2022. A week prior to opening day this year, Andrews suffered a leg injury that prevented him from being added to the 2024 roster. Currently, Andrews is serving as the bullpen manager for the 2024 Wake Forest team and will be traveling with the squad all spring. He is in the transfer portal, is 100% healthy and preparing to pitch in graduate school next fall/spring.
