Bergman Fleishman is Wake Forest's all-time leader in tennis victories with 129 singles wins and 115 doubles victories for a total of 244 wins. She is the only Demon Deacon with more than 100 singles and doubles victories. She was a three-time All-America selection and is one of just two Wake Forest players to be named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team all four years. She won the 2002 USTA National Sportsmanship Award and was ranked as high as No. 6 in the nation in singles and No. 1 in doubles.

The 1999 ACC Rookie of the Year, Bergman earned the 1999 ITA Region Freshman of the Year award and the 2002 ITA Region Senior of the Year. She helped Wake Forest to the 2000 and 2002 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals and the round of 16 in 2001. Bergman was a key component of Wake Forest's 2000 ACC regular season championship, the only conference title in program history. She was a member of the elite ACC 50th Anniversary team.

Her husband, Brian, is the head women's tennis coach at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the former head coach at Wake Forest.
