Track & Field Concludes Competition at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Wake Forest men's and women's track teams concluded competition at the 104th running of the Penn Relays on Saturday in Philadelphia, PA by competing in several relay events.
Brooke Chapman, Summer Shaw, Chrissy Person and Jill Snyder competed on the Wake Forest women's distance medley relay team that finished sixth in the championship race with a time of 11:17.19.
Matt Udvari, Chris Cody, Steve Trezvant and Garrett Putman ran a time of 3:23.58 to place seventh in their heat of the 4x400 relay.
In the men's distance medley relay, Putman and Cody teamed with Pat Fitzgerald and Matt Shady to finish seventh in heat two with a time of 10:01.01.
Both of the Wake Forest teams will compete in the Oregon Track Classic next weekend in Eugene, OR.
