Two Wake Runners to Compete at NCAA Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Two Wake Forest runners have qualified for the 1998 NCAA Outdoor Championships which begin Wednesday (June 3) in Buffalo, NY.

Nolan Swanson, who earned All-America honors in cross country this past fall, is competing in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Chrissy Person is representing the Demon Deacon women's team in the 1,500 meters.
