Women's Volleyball Player Named ACC Rookie-of-the-Week

Wake Forest freshman Trina Maso de Moya (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) was named Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Rookie-of-the-Week for the first week of the regular season.

She was also tabbed an all-tournament selection at this past weekend's Deacon Invitational. Maso de Moya helped lead the Deacons to a second place finish in the tournament with a 3-1 record.

After four matches, she leads the team in kills, digs and total attacks per game with a hitting percentage of .248.
