Wake Names New Associate Athletic Director

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest has named Barbara Walker as an associate athletic director and senior woman administrator. Walker will oversee the operations for 13 Demon Deacon sports -- baseball, women's basketball, field hockey, men's golf, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field/cross country, and volleyball.

Walker has served the past two years as associate athletic director for compliance and student services at the University of Texas. She also previously worked at the University of Oregon as a senior associate athletic director, and at UAB as an assistant athletic director.
