Kraus Named ACC Cross Country Performer Of The Week

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-Wake Forest senior Janelle Kraus was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Performer of the Week for September 6th after cruising to the individual title at the Appalachian State Invitational on September 4th.
Kraus led the Demon Deacons to a second-place team finish at the meet with her winning time of 17:28 over the 5K circuit, more than 30 seconds ahead of the second place finisher in the race. The Shelter Island, N.Y., native now owns a Wake Forest record 11 individual titles in her career.
Kraus has now captured the ACC's Performer of the Week honors on eight different occasions in the past three seasons.
