Wake Ranked Ninth In Daily Tennis Poll

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest women's tennis team dropped from eighth to ninth in this week's Daily Tennis Coaches Poll.

The Deacons, who open the spring season on Saturday when they host the Virginia Commonwealth Rams, are joined by two other ACC schools in the top 25 poll. Duke dropped from third to fifth in the poll and Florida State is ranked 21st, down from last week's ranking of 20th.

The Deacons' match with VCU will be played at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center. The match is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
