Wake Forest Head Coach Skip Prosser
"Well, when you look at the stat sheet, I have no idea how we won the game. 21 offensive rebounds, we held them to 20 offensive rebounds, neither team shot the ball well. We were especially poor from threes. And, fortunately for us, Broderick Hicks made a big senior play from the corner. I think in all honesty, and I'm not trying to make excuses, I think we're just a little fatigued. We've played six games in sixteen and five of the games, in my opinion, were against teams that are going to be in post season play."

"I thought the crowd was great. Those that were here did a terrific job - I thought our students that were here were great: they wouldn't let us die. Somehow, someway, we found the wherewithal to win the game and I give a lot of credit to Danny (Monson) and their kids. They're a good team and in many ways you could say that they deserved to win the game. You know, that's why it's forty minutes. We'll take it."

On staying in the game
"We had some seniors make some senior plays. Broderick's shot, Darius' free- throws, Ervin's free-throws, Scott - a big three point play down six off Darius' miss. We kept telling them, 'We're right there. We just got to get some stops and rebounds and somebody's got to step up down here and make a big offensive play. I wish it would have happened a lot earlier than when it happened but again, somehow the kids are 5-1 and they need a couple days off and we're looking forward to that."

Wake Forest's Josh Howard
"We really came together defensively, everyone played hard. Minnesota is a good team. We had to suck it up and come back. It felt good to get a win after a loss. I have confidence in my teammates, I knew Broderick could make (the three point goal) it.

Wake Forest's Antwan Scott
"We really stuck together and didn't give up. We showed lots of heart. We've been down before and we weren't going to lose again. It came down to heart - we had to want the win. Minnesota is a pretty strong team, they played well."
