WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest scored 81 points in the first half to dismiss Gulbene Buki, a Latvian team, 117-64 in the Joel Wednesday night. The Deacons wrapped up exhibition play with the win tonight, the second straight game Wake broke the 100-point mark.

Junior Josh Howard led the Deacs with 24 points in 23 minutes. Howard shot 9-of-12 from the floor and recorded a team-high five steals. Senior Darius Songaila was perfect from the free throw line tonight, posting 11-of-11. Songaila scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the night.

Senior Antwan Scott added 16 points and was 4-5 from the line in 22 minutes. Freshman Vytas Danelius posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes.

As a team, Wake scored 44 points off of Latvia's 30 turnovers. Twenty-one of those turnovers came in the first half as the Deacons closed out the half 81-33.

Wake wraps up exhibition play 2-0 in preparation for the Nov. 12 season opener against UNC-Wilmington in the first round of the NIT at 7 p.m. in the Joel Coliseum.
