CHATANOOGA, Tenn. - Wake Forest men's tennis player David Loewenthal split two singles matches in the consolation bracket of the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships Friday. The last Demon Deacon remaining in the tournament, Loewenthal was eliminated.

Loewenthal beat Vince Ng from Ohio State in the first round by scores of 6-4, 6-3 and then received a second round bye. He then dropped his third round match 7-5, 6-1 to William Barker from Rice.

Wake Forest returns to action Oct. 23-27 at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Chapel Hill, N.C. Complete results from the ITA All-American Championships are available at itatennis.com.
