Sherman Picks Up ACC Weekly Honor

Wake Forest women's cross country runner Anna Sherman received the ACC??s Cross Country Performer of the Week for her accomplishments over the weekend.
Sherman finished fourth at the North Carolina Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships in a time of 17:23.80. The West Essex, N.J., native was the first Division I runner to cross the line of the 5K race. The Demon Deacons?? win at the meet was their third this season.
The Wake Forest harriers will be back in action on Oct. 19, traveling to Terre Haute, IN to compete in pre-nationals.
