THIS WEEK: ACC CHAMPIONSHIPS Atlanta, GA
The Wake Forest men and women's cross country teams head down to Atlanta, GA to compete in the ACC Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2.
The Demon Deacon men and women's cross country teams competed at the NCAA Pre-National Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19 in Terre Haute, IN. The women grabbed a second place finish out of 37 teams, while the men placed 27th out of 36.
Leading the way for the women was Anne Bersagel, who completed the 6,000m race in 20:35 for 11th place. Risa Rutland notched 24th with a time of 21:07. In 38th place was Erin Franklin with a time of 21:22.
Mike Altieri was the top runner for the men, finishing in 70th place, with a time of 25:04. Sean Stevens completed the 8,000m race in 25:22 for 109th place.
