Women's Golf To Compete In Landfall Tradition

The 29th-ranked Wake Forest women's golf team travels to Wilmington, NC on Friday for The Landfall Tradition hosted by UNC Wilmington. The 12-team tournament field includes Alabama, Arizona State, Colorado, Florida State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Penn State, Purdue, TCU, Tulsa, UNC Wilmington, and Wake Forest. The 54-hole tournament will be played Friday through Sunday.
The tournament will be held at the Landfall Golf Club, a Pete Dye design. The course measures a lengthy 6,601 yards and par is 72.
Seniors Nuria Clau and Maria Beautell will lead the Deacs with sophomores Ashley Hoagland and Christine Hallstrom and freshman Julie McKenna rounding out the starting lineup.
