Midnight Madness Is Friday Night At Reynolds Gym

The Wake Forest men's and women's basketball teams get their respective seasons kicked of Friday night with Midnight Madness at Reynolds Gym.

Admission is free and open to all Wake Forest fans. Doors will open at 11:00 p.m. The festivities will culminate with an intra-squad men's scrimmage just after midnight.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early. Reynolds Gym's capacity is 1,500.

Friday's event will offer a preseason glimpse at one of the youngest teams in the ACC. The Deacons return just two seniors -- All-American candidate Josh Howard and Steve Lepore -- from a team that finished 21-13 last season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Deacon roster includes nine freshmen and sophomores.
