Sleeth Named ACC Player of the Week

Greensboro, N.C. - Wake Forest's Kyle Sleeth earns this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Player of the Week honors.
Sleeth, a sophomore right handed pitcher earns ACC Player of the Week recognition after leading the Demon Deacons to two victories this past week, including a 9-8 victory over No. 8 Nebraska. The Westminster, Colo., native threw a total of 13 innings on the week allowing four runs and three walks while striking out 13 of the 50 batters faced.
In addition to the victory over No. 8 Nebraska, Sleeth also tallied the opening day win over Davidson with a career-high ten strikeouts and no walks. With a 2-0 record, Sleeth has a 2.77 ERA and has recorded two of the three Wake Forest victories this season.
