Antwan Scott Will Compete In Slam Dunk Contest

Wake Forest senior Antwan Scott will participate in the 14th annual College Basketball Slam Dunk Contest in Atlanta this week. The contest will be held Thursday night on the campus of Georgia State University and will be aired on ESPN Saturday from 2-4 p.m.
Scott averaged 10.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game last season. He shot 55.9 percent from the field, 70.2 percent from the free throw line and he led the team with 47 blocked shots. Scott also led the team with 63 dunks.
One of eight contestants, Scott will compete with Virginia's Adam Hall, Notre Dame's Ryan Humphrey, Oregon's Fred Jones and four others. Previous winners include Isaiah Rider (UNLV), Damon Stoudamire (Arizona), Bryce Drew (Valparaiso) and most recently Joe Crispin (Penn State), Horace Jenkins (William Patterson University) and Holli Tapley (Fairfield Univeristy).
