Deacons Open Five-Game Homestand on Tuesday

WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- The 8th-ranked Wake Forest baseball team will play five home games this week beginning Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. with in-state rival Charlotte.
The Deacons (19-4, 4-1 ACC) held onto their No. 8 ranking in the Collegiate Baseball poll this week after taking two of three on the road at NC State over the weekend.
Junior Seth Hill will start on Tuesday against the 49ers and Ben Clayton will get the ball on Wednesday when Liberty invades Winston-Salem. Both mid-week games start at 3:00 p.m.
This weekend, Wake Forest resumes its ACC schedule as 11th-ranked Florida State visits Hooks Stadium. The Demon Deacons are 4-1 in the league, second place behind North Carolina.
