Women's Golf Competes In Dodge ACC/SEC Challenge

The 17th-ranked Wake Forest women's golf team travels to Destin, Fla. for the third annual Dodge ACC/SEC Challenge, hosted by Florida State. The tournament field includes seven teams in golfweek.com's top 25. The Challenge will be played Friday through Sunday.
The tournament will be held on The Raven Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Fla. The course measures 5,937 yards and par is 71. Representing the ACC with Wake Forest is Duke, Florida State, Maryland, North Carolina, and NC State. The SEC teams include Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and Mississippi State. Furman is also competing in this weekend's tournament.
Last year's conference champion was the SEC, with Florida taking home the team championship.
Seniors Nuria Clau and Caroline Stetler will lead the Deacs with junior Deborah Means, sophomore Ashley Hoagland, and freshman Julie McKenna. This will be McKenna's first collegiate golf tournament.
