Men's Cross Country Competes in Roy Griak Invitational

The Wake Forest men??s cross country team competed in the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday, placing 20th overall. The Demon Deacons finished with a total of 508 points in the 27-team race.

Senior Mike Altieri led Wake Forest, finishing in 79th place with a total time of 25:26.6. In 91st place was Brandon Bartholomew with a total time of 25:31.5. Dave Barrett placed 98th with a time of 25:34.6. and Matt Busick finished 130th, with a time of 25:59.0. Also representing Wake Forest were sophomores Chris Elder and Brian Smith.

The Wake Forest men will be back in action on Oct. 19, competing at pre-nationals in Terre Haute, IN.
