Atieri Receives ACC Weekly Honor

Wake Forest senior Mike Altieri was named ACC Cross Country Performer of the Week for the week of Sept. 30.
Altieri led Wake Forest to a 20th-place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 28, posting an individual time of 25:26.6 in the 8K. The Sacramento, CA native placed 79th overall, running against 27 teams, eight of which were ranked.
The Wake Forest men will be back in action on Oct. 19, competing at pre-nationals in Terre Haute, IN.
