ESPN The Truck to Visit Hooks Stadium This Weekend

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Time Warner Cable is driving ESPN's mobile champion, ESPN The Truck, to Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem to lend an assist to WFU baseball this Friday, March 7 thru Sunday, March 9.
The Demon Deacons will play three games against the Le Moyne College Dolphins this weekend and ESPN The Truck will be on-hand offering baseball fans the ultimate ESPN experience. On board, fans can enjoy the full spectrum of ESPN - be taped as a SportsCenter anchor, get a photo on the cover of ESPN the Magazine, check out their team's latest stats on ESPN.com, and much more.
Designed to give a hands-on feel of being inside ESPN, ESPN The Truck is an expanding 18-wheel, 53-foot long, mobile interactive sports experience. Sports fans are invited to visit ESPN The Truck from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. each day outside Gene Hooks Stadium on the Wake Forest campus. The nationally ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons baseball team takes on the Le Moyne Dolphins at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

ESPN The Truck, Time Warner Cable and Wake Forest University are spreading the message of good sportsmanship and offering fans a chance to enjoy a three-dimensional, fully interactive, hands-on, behind-the-scenes experience with ESPN. Among its numerous exhibits are:
- A replica SportsCenter desk where fans can play sports anchor and take home their very own "keep it reel" audition tape
- ESPN The Magazine photo booth allows fans to have their faces superimposed on the magazine cover
- A video touch screen wall lets fans watch up-close and personal interviews of their SportsCenter anchors
- ESPN Sports Bar features a bank of TV monitors where fans can choose which live feeds of ESPN's domestic networks and special programming to watch.
- ESPN Classic/SportsCentury is a multi-media celebration of some of the greatest moments and heroes in sports history. There is a countdown of the top 50 athletes of the century and an interactive Wall of Fame that tells about these athletes with descriptions of career achievements
- ESPN Evolution is a gallery of ESPN's history and historic contributions to the world of sports television
- NFL Flag features video games and an interactive presentation that celebrates many of the programs which benefit youngsters in the community
- ESPN.com can be accessed from 4 computer monitors along with other sites dedicated to sports
- SEGA Sports NFL 2K3 - Play this exciting football video game, available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube, which has impressive life-like animations, an innovative and easy to use Franchise mode, and a new ESPN presentation system with scores, replays and more displayed in the popular ESPN style

The Wake Forest baseball team is ranked 11th nationally in this week's Baseball America poll. The Demon Deacons (7-3) return nine starters and 11 pitchers, including three All-Americans, from last year's 47-13-1 squad that made a school-record fifth straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Junior right-hander Kyle Sleeth, widely considered to be the best pitcher in college baseball, is a consensus preseason first team All-American. With a 3-0 record and a 1.23 ERA, Sleeth is off to a stellar start and is expected to be Wake Forest's starting pitcher on Friday afternoon against Le Moyne.
