Wake Forest Rolls Past William and Mary

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- The Wake Forest volleyball team had no problems defeating William & Mary in three consecutive games on Saturday afternoon at the Georgetown Classic and improving to 6-1 on the season. The Demon Deacons were led by Valerie Rydberg who finished the match with 12 kills and 12 digs to go along with three service aces.
Junior Kim Stern chipped in with 12 kills and freshman Lauren Peterson had 10. Christy Williams contributed with a season-high six service aces for the Deacs while Erin Borhart led all players with 37 assists.
The Demon Deacons will take on host Georgetown on Saturday evening at 7 pm in the final match of the Georgetown Classic.
