WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - First-year Wake Forest baseball coach Rick Rembielak announced today that the Demon Deacons have received six National Letters of Intent to play at WFU in the spring of 2006.

"We have fulfilled 90 percent of our projected needs in the early signing period with this class," said Rembielak. "Even with a late start in the recruiting process because of the transition in the coaching staff, we feel we've accomplished our recruiting goals. We not only added the skills needed to be competitive in the ACC, but we also added quality people to our program with a passion to succeed."

"A hard-throwing right-hander projected to be a weekend starter for us," Rembielak said. "He has a live arm with velocity and control. He can also mix in an out-pitch, curve ball. Brad's arm strength increased this past fall which turned him into a front-line pitcher. Brad is anywhere from 89-92 mph on his fastball right now and projects to pick up even more velocity in time. He also possesses great control and mechanics for his size."
