Winston-Salem, NC - Eight members of the Wake Forest women's golf team earned a spot on the Fall 2004 Dean's List. For the seventh consecutive semester, the women's golf program owned the highest percentage (80 percent) of honor roll students by any Deacon athletic team.
Freshmen Laura Crawford and Elizabeth Yoder, sophomore Mandy Goins, juniors Joy Juskowich, Julie McKenna and Sasha Suzuki, and seniors Christine Hallstrom and Ashley Hoagland earned honor roll status last semester.
Hoagland, who boasts the best career scoring average of any Deacon golfer in the history of the women's program, made a perfect 4.0 in the fall. She also recently improved to a sixth place national ranking among female amateurs, according to GolfWeek.com.
Juskowich earned a 4.0 last semester as well.
For the last three years, the women's golf team has produced the highest percentage of team members on the honor roll and last spring they had the highest semester GPA average. Also last school year, women's golf had the highest cumulative GPA of any Deacon athletic team.
