Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team continues its fall schedule in Columbia, S.C., this weekend at the University of South Carolina Fall Invitational. The Demon Deacons are one of 30 teams represented at the three-venue event in South Carolina's capital city.
The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, and run through the weekend, with the flight finals being contested Sunday afternoon.
Wake Forest is sending six individuals to the event, including Mariusz Adamski, Joe Bates, Cory Parr, Charles Sartor, Jon Staton and Liron Strauss. After playing at last week's ITA All-American Championships, Andrew Hamar, Todd Paul and Brett Ross will be idle this weekend.
The Deacons have been impressive in the early fall, posting a combined singles record of 37-8. In doubles, Wake Forest owns an 11-5 mark.
