Erin Borhart Named ACC Volleyball Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, NC - Senior Erin Borhart was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, after leading the Demon Deacons to a pair of conference victories over the weekend. Borhart is the second Wake Forest volleyball player to earn the honor this season.

Borhart posted back-to-back double-double performances on the weekend. The senior recorded 38 assists and 12 digs in the Deacons' 3-0 win over visiting Boston College on Nov. 11. She hit .375 with seven kills in the match.

The next day, the setter from Huntley, Ill., recorded a match-high 61 assists and 22 digs, leading the Demon Deacons to a 3-2 win over No. 24 Maryland. Borhart also recorded a team-high five block assists, six kills and three service aces, helping Wake Forest to its first win over a ranked opponent this season.

On the week, Borhart averaged 12.38 assists per game and 4.25 digs per game.
