WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The #31 Wake Forest women's tennis team will return to the court Sunday afternoon to host #11 Miami, in Leighton Tennis Stadium at noon.
The Demon Deacons are coming off a 4-3 loss to #16 North Carolina on Thursday afternoon. In the match against the Tar Heels, the Deacs fell in the doubles point, but were able to come back in the singles, winning all three of the six points. Doubles partners Karin Coetzee and Alex Hirsch will look to extend their five match winning streak against the Hurricanes, while in singles, Coetzee will look to pick up her sixth straight victory.
The Hurricanes enter the match led by Megan Bradley, the top ranked singles player in the country, in addition to the #4 doubles pair in Bradley and Audrey Banada. Currently 35-1 during the 2004-05 year, Bradley has yet to lose in singles during the spring season, while in doubles the pair boasts a 24-3 overall record with just one loss during the spring season.
