Winston-Salem, NC - Sophomore Jackie Lucas led the charge at the net with seven of Demon Deacons 28 block assists, to lead the Wake Forest volleyball team to a 3-1 (30-20, 30-18, 28-30, 30-23) victory over Georgetown, Friday night in Reynolds Gym. The win improves the Demon Deacons to 5-2 on the season and increases their winning streak to four.
"This was a great win at home for us," said head coach Heather Kahl. "Our blocking was the key to our win tonight. We pulled it together and picked up some balls that allowed our offense to be successful."

The final game of the night resulted in another battle with the lead changing three times. A four point run at 20-18 gave the Deacs the push they needed to close the match. Finishing the night on an ace by Mullikin and an error by the Hoyas closed the game, 30-23.
