Cincinnati, Ohio - The Wake Forest men's tennis team begins its 2005-06 campaign at the Cincinnati Collegiate Invitational this weekend, a five-team event beginning Friday. The Demon Deacons face Brown, Indiana, Louisville and Michigan State in the Queen City.
For head coach Jeff Zinn, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, the weekend event will be a homecoming of sorts.

The veterans include senior Brett Ross, who led the Deacons last year with 26 singles wins and is ranked 91st in the preseason; junior Andrew Hamar, who posted a 20-10 singles record as a sophomore and is ranked 70th in the preseason; and junior Todd Paul, a two-time All-ACC selection who is ranked 33rd in the preseason poll.
The weekend's schedule is as follows: Friday, 10:30 a.m. -- doubles vs. Louisville Friday, 11:30 a.m. -- singles vs. Brown Friday, 2:30 p.m. -- doubles vs. Michigan State Saturday, 10:30 a.m. -- doubles vs. Brown Saturday, 11:30 a.m. -- singles vs. Louisville Saturday, 2:30 p.m. -- doubles vs. Indiana Saturday, 3:30 p.m. -- singles vs. Michigan State Sunday, 11:30 a.m. -- singles vs. Indiana
