Wake Forest Volleyball Travels to UTA Tournament

Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest volleyball team will travel to Arlington, Texas where the Demon Deacons will face Arkansas-Little Rock, Iowa and Texas Pan American at the UTA Tournament, Friday and Saturday.
The Demon Deacons will open play on Friday against Arkansas-Little Rock at 4 p.m. (CDT). They will then face Texas Pan American on Saturday at 10 a.m. (CDT) and finish the tournament against Iowa at 5 p.m. (CDT). This will be the first meeting against all three teams.
Wake Forest enters the tournament coming off a 1-2 weekend at the Courtyard by Marriott Airport Classic, hosted by the University of Louisville. The Deacs defeated Tennessee State, 3-0, while falling to No. 14 Louisville and No. 30 Ohio. Despite the losses against the ranked foes, Wake Forest was strong at the net, finishing the tournament with an impressive 26 total blocks. Sophomore Jackie Lucas led the charge with 15, while freshman Natalie Mullikin was not far behind with 11.
