Deacons Well-Represented In Regional Rankings

Winston-Salem, N.C. - Three Wake Forest men's tennis players and two doubles teams have been ranked in the Mideast Region, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced recently.
Senior All-American Todd Paul is ranked third to headline the group, second among ACC players. Harel Srugo, Old Dominion is the region's top-ranked player followed by Somdev Devvarman of Virginia. Wake Forest sophomore Cory Parr is listed 18th and senior Andrew Hamar is ranked 20th.
In doubles, the team of Parr and junior Charles Sartor are ranked seventh. The preseason All-American team of Paul and Hamar are ranked 10th.
Wake Forest kicks off the spring season Jan. 27 in Evanston, Ill., against the University of San Diego.
